About The New Roads School of Astrology

The New Roads School of Astrology (TheNewRoads) is an online school of astrological coaching — a discipline that uses the natal chart, Solar Returns, and Synastry not to predict the future, but as tools for understanding life and relationships and raising consciousness. The school was co-created by Edward Petriati and Eduardo Petriati, who together bring more than fifty years of combined astrological practice and over four decades of technical and analytical work to its curriculum.

The New Roads School of Astrology is an independent online school and is not affiliated with New Roads School, the K–12 private school in Santa Monica, California.

What the school teaches
TheNewRoads offers consciousness-based personal development through astrological coaching. Rather than treating astrology as fortune-telling, the school approaches it as a system of repeating, observable patterns — something to be studied with rigor and applied practically to real lives. Students learn to read charts as instruments for self-understanding, relationship insight, and personal evolution, drawing on the founders’ combined experience of more than a thousand personal consultations.

Edu Petriati has been immersed in astrology for over 45 years — a journey that began in skepticism rather than belief. Testing the discipline against reality as a curious observer, he gradually became convinced that astrology holds up as a genuine system of repeating patterns, worth studying with the same rigor he brought to his other lifelong field: information technology, where he built a career spanning over four decades.
That dual background — technical and metaphysical — shapes everything Edu does. He has conducted over a thousand personal consultations, always approaching natal charts, Solar Returns, and Synastries not as tools for prediction, but as tools for understanding life and relationships and using them to raise consciousness.

Edward Petriati is a Certified Life Coach (2024) and astrological coach who has practiced astrology for 8 years. He pairs that practice with more than 26 years as an IT and business-process professional — an analytical, pattern-driven background that informs how he coaches clients through their charts.
